研究员研究方向:

1.我们将使用多单元阵列和双光子等高分辨率成像等方法去长期记录大尺度神经元活动以揭示运动技能学习的神经编码机理;

2.在行为学上,我们还将在动物训练中引入动态的虚拟现实环境以进一步分解感知和运动信号;

3.尝试使用光基因和药理失活等技术干预神经活动以揭示各个脑区具体的行为作用;

4.与临床研究人员合作开展脑机接口和神经假肢方面的研究,即通过解码运动神经信号来控制机械手臂等。

主要研究方向:

我们实验室主要的研究兴趣在于理解序列学习、工作记忆和自我意识等的神经机制。我们通过在人类上利用心理物理学、头皮脑电(EEG)和功能性磁共振(fMRI)等研究手段,以及在清醒猕猴上进行单细胞记录和fMRI扫描,比较在执行序列学习等认知任务时,不同物种之间大脑神经网络的异同。

Q1.人类大脑如何编码语言和非语言的序列结构?

Q2.猕猴大脑如何在细胞层面编码具有等级结构的序列?我们能否在与人类语言脑区同源的的动物大脑区域中,找到编码序列等级结构的神经环路或群体神经元?

Q3.人类和动物在编码序列中的单元(primitives)和符号(operations)时的神经机制有何不同?两者结合工作的神经机理是什么?

Q4.与人类相比,猕猴大脑如何编码身体的自我意识?
